The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote exceptional design visionaries and discover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design worldwide. The Farmani Group founded the IDA as the design sibling of the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography, which has emerged as one of the world’s most prestigious photography awards.
Nest is designed to be a extended-stay hotel focused on being a home away from home for traveling healthcare professionals. Thoughtfully curated to support both well-being and sustainability, the space integrates natural materials, biophilic elements, and energy-efficient design to reconnect guests with nature after long hours in sterile environments. Bold colors and organic forms infuse the hotel with energy, while earthy textures and greenery create a calming retreat. The design carefully balances open, shared spaces that foster community with private rooms that provide a cozy, restorative escape.
